We are seeking a friendly and community-focused Recruiting & Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on building our brand within educational institutions and managing all marketing efforts related to recruiting. They will also be a vital member of the team as we onboard new employees, setting them up for success in their new roles.

Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and community-focused Recruiting & Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on building our brand within educational institutions and managing all marketing efforts related to recruiting. They will also be a vital member of the team as we onboard new employees, setting them up for success in their new roles.
Examples of the duties:
Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance our employer brand within schools, colleges, and universities.
- Create and distribute engaging content across social media and other digital platforms to attract potential candidates.
- Collaborate with the marketing and recruiting team to design and execute campaigns that showcase our company culture and career opportunities.
- Analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Help design and create marketing materials for recruiting purposes.
- Engage with potential candidates at events, providing information about career opportunities and our firm's culture.
- Compile and summarize potential candidate interactions and forward them to the recruiting team for further evaluation.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and recruiting to understand staffing needs and help develop job descriptions.
- Maintain a talent pipeline and build relationships with potential candidates.
- Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Works closely with the Senior Recruiter to ensure seamless hiring processes and strategic growth initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate the firm's presence at job fairs, career days, and other recruitment events at schools and colleges.
- Represent the company at college or high school events, engaging with students and promoting our brand.
- Organize and participate in virtual events and webinars to reach a broader audience.
- Ensure that all event materials and presentations align with our brand and messaging.
- Represent the firm at local events such as golf outings, chamber of commerce meetings, and networking events to build relationships and promote our brand.
- Assist in conference coordination for the firm.
Qualifications & Characteristics
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field; however, relevant work experience will also be considered
- 2-3 years of proven experience in marketing and recruiting roles, preferably within the professional services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
- Can work independently but also work effectively with a team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, WordPress).
- Experience in graphic design or content creation is preferred (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Location – on-site in Willmar, MN
- Hours are normally Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
